Abstract

|
Frank William Schofield (1889-1970) was an English Canandian who had a pioneer spirit, a sincere Christian who was deeply influenced by Jesus Christ and his father, a Canadian missionary, and a Korean. It focuses on the period from 1907 when Schfield came to Canada to 1917 when he fulfilled his requirement of the language qualifying examination for missionaries. For this purpose, in addition, it explores the mission policy of the Presbyterian Church in Canada and its socio-religious background.
